Chapin Theatre Company 2017
CTC will be sponsoring a Youth Troupe. This will be an ensemble of 6 to 8 members aged 11 - 18 who exhibit passion, creativity, and a love for the theatre. They will perform both on the Chapin Theatre stages and also at various locations around the Midlands. They will also be responsible for writing some skits to be performed.
The inaugural members will be responsible for naming the troupe, as well helping define its scope. They will serve one-year terms beginning each August, although inaugural members will serve a shortened term from January through August 2018. Auditions will be held annually in August. Rehearsals will be held about once a week depending the schedules of the members.
Auditions will be at the Firehouse Theatre at 102 Lexington Ave. on Sunday, January 7 at 6:30pm and Tuesday, January 9 at 6:30pm. You must email Tiffany Dinsmore at TheFunDinsmores@gmail.com to schedule an audition spot.
Auditioners will be required to perform 2 contrasting monologues, approx 1 min each. They may also be asked to sing a short song. (Music will be provided at the audition.)

Director Glenn Farr has announced the cast list for "Leaving Iowa," which runs February 24 - March 4 with the following message, "Thank you to all who auditioned.
