SYNOPSIS: Married but battling jealous actors Anthony Lane and Rebecca Byington discover they are ghosts haunting a modern day summer theatre. Jerry Ballantine, a down-on-his-luck director who’s mounting a new production of their original 1960 starring vehicle, Two for Dinner with executive producer, Edna Flutterbok are gambling this new production will revive the struggling theatre’s fortunes. This revival production stars Roger Darling, a neurotic leading man who is feuding with his demanding co-star, Jessica Alexander, a former television star. Mismatched cast and nervous director struggle through rehearsals, suffering one mishap after another, culminating with a disastrous Opening Night!
