The Chapin Theatre Company (CTC), like so many of you, are in disbelief as we monitor the COVID-19 situation and the accompanying economic fallout. Caring for our community is a priority for us, and the safety of our patrons, cast, and volunteers is of utmost importance. As a precaution, we have halted all rehearsals for our upcoming performance of Clue until further notice. It is very possible that we will have to modify the dates for our performances and workshops. We will know more in the coming weeks and promise to keep you informed of changes via e-newsletters and updates here on our website. We hope to see light at the end of the tunnel soon so we can once again bring fun and entertainment to the Midlands. We appreciate you and thank you for being part of the Chapin Theatre Company community. Stay safe!
It's a dark and stormy night, and you've been invited to a very unusual dinner party. Each of the guests has an alias, the butler offers a variety of weapons, and the host is, well... dead. So whodunnit? Join the iconic oddballs known as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock and Mustard as they race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor before the body count stacks up. Based on the cult classic film and the popular board game, Clue is a madcap comedy that will keep you guessing until the final twist. Clue, which will be directed by Tiffany Dinsmore, will run May 1 - 2 & 7 - 9 at 8 PM, with Sunday matinees on May 3 & 10 at 3 PM at the American Legion Building at 102 Lexington Ave, Chapin, SC 29036.
